Robert W. Browning, PCAM®, RS
Robert Browning formed the Browning Reserve Group in April 1999. The Browning Reserve Group (BRG) performs reserve studies for common interest communities, special districts, park and community services districts and other entities that can benefit from long range financial planning. BRG currently has over 1,500 clients in multiple states. Reserve studies form the core business for BRG.
Due to increasing demand in the northwest, BRG is pleased to unveil our newest location to better serve our Idaho, Oregon, Washington and western Montana clients. The northwest office opened in 2009 and is the third BRG location. (Visit BRG Northwest). BRG opened a Las Vegas, NV office in 2007 where we have been serving clients since 2000.
Mr. Browning is a two time past President of the California North Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and currently serves on the California Legislative Action Committee (CLAC) of CAI. In 2003 and 2004 he served as Chair of CLAC. He served on the Board of Trustees of the Community Associations Institute during 2000 - 2006 and during 2007 - 2008 served as President for the Foundation for Community Association Research. CAI's 501(c)3 foundation is the driving force for community association research, development, and scholarship. It is the only organization both recording the history of, and identifying trends in, residential community association living.
In his volunteer efforts with CAI, Mr. Browning has spoken at numerous seminars dealing with association operations and reserve study requirements. Mr. Browning was appointed by the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors in 1994 to the Community Planning and Advisory Council for South Sacramento.
Mr. Browning is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and has earned the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) and Reserve Specialist (RS) designations from CAI. Pursuant to Nevada regulation R145-06, Robert is a Nevada Reserve Study Specialist (RSS # 5).
In his spare time, Mr. Browning volunteers for the Sacramento County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Unit, serves as a reserve deputy sheriff and is a member of the Sacramento Amateur Radio Club. The Browning Reserve Group is a California licensed general contractor. Contractor's License # 768851.
